Narcissus Poeticus.
Flowering in April-May, bee-friendly
Height 40 cm
The Pheasant Eye or Peacock Eye is an original inhabitant of southern Europe and the west of the Balkans. The small-flowered is slightly kinked at the top of the stem and the clear white tight-fitting petals are slightly bent back. The daffodil owes its nickname to its small saucer-shaped golden-yellow coloured heart and the red-lined edge.
She blooms as a long bloomer as one of the last in the season. This gem looks fantastic in a sunny border, preferably in slightly moist soil. Plant the Poet's daffodil with its blue-green strap-shaped leaves in numbers and enjoy a wonderful scent in the garden.
