Dahlia Impression Famoso

Collarette dahlia, beautiful soft pink petals paired with a contrasting inner creamy white collar and a bright golden-yellow open center.  Height 60 cm. Can bloom for months, is suitable for the borders of your garden, and certainly also suitable for planting in pots for the balcony or terrace.

Dahlias are planted in early spring, after frost. If night frost is expected after planting, it is best to cover the dahlias to keep them frost-free. Plant them about 15 cm. deep, with the thick roots downwards, such that the remainder of last year's stem is just covered with 2 to 3 cm of soil. Also give them some water immediately. They can grow in a semi-shaded spot, but they prefer a sunny spot for abundant flowering.

Dig up the tubers at the end of summer and store the tubers in a cool, frost-free area.
