Echinacea purpurea Magnus (or: purple coneflower), is a striking plant with a brown-red heart and drooping purple-pink petals. Suitable as cut flower. Very friendly to butterflies and bees. The roots of echinacea are used as a homeopathic remedy to boost the immune system.

Echinacea does well in most types of garden soil but prefers a fertile, well-drained soil. Can be planted in sun or partial shade
