Gladiolus Glamini Tom
Gladiolus Glamini Tom
Dwarf gladioli with vibrant red ruffled flowers with distinct white or contrasting throat highlights.
Dwarf gladioli are early-flowering, shorter and more compact than traditional varieties with small, funnel-shaped flowers with vibrantly coloured markings.
Height about 50cm
Gladiolus (also called sword lily) are planted in early spring, after frost. Plant them about 12 cm. deep, and give them some water immediately. They can grow in a semi-shaded spot, but they prefer a sunny spot for abundant flowering in August and September. Gladiolus bulbs are reasonably winter hardy, but covering them is desirable during prolonged frost. They like well-drained soil, and need some support during flowering.
