Gladiolus Norma Jean, 10 pcs
Gladiolus Norma Jean, 10 pcs
Gladiolus with a very special color, basic white with a soft hint of lilac on it. Grows up to 110 cm high. Beautiful for the garden, but also particularly suitable as a cut flower, with a long vase life. Funnel-shaped flowers bloom on both sides of a long stem. Flowering starts at the bottom and gradually continues upwards.
Gladiolus (also called sword lily) are planted in early spring, after frost. Plant them about 12 cm. deep, and give them some water immediately. They can grow in a semi-shaded spot, but they prefer a sunny spot for abundant flowering in August and September. Gladiolus bulbs are reasonably winter hardy, but covering them is desirable during prolonged frost. They like well-drained soil, and need some support during flowering
