Oxalis deppei 'Iron Cross', fancy name for the plant that we also call wood sorrel, or 'Lucky Clover'. Small pink flowers that open during the day, but close at night. And especially very decorative leaves, heart-shaped in bright green with a dark heart.
A good ground cover in your garden, but also very decorative in a pot on the terrace. Does wel in sun or shade.
Oxalis is also very edible and healthy! You can eat the flowers and leaves in, for example, a salad. The taste is slightly sour.
Oxalis is moderately hardy, can withstand a mild winter, but cover it if temperatures drop further. Of course, store pots frost-free in winter.
